PARTIES!
Spring was quite a fun time! Ian and I had lots of exciting events and met all kinds of new friends. We had a great time at Samantha’s 1st birthday, along with Natalya’s POODLE Party! Great time and wonderful decorations!

We also had a great time at the Third ANGLICO Family Day in Fort McCarther Park in San Pedro...Diane “SAS” Liska joined us that day as an additional WonderGirl face painter. Thanks Diane!

I’ve been asked several times for INEXPENSIVE party ideas, so I’ve done some research and I thought I would pass on these excellent WEBSITES for your party planning needs. Lots of laughs in 2008!

Hi and Happy first quarter of 2008! We’re really looking forward to a busy and happy SPRING!!! The beginning of this year was filled with lots of laughs and fun times!

One of the highlights was attending several Korean 1st birthdays, called the tol (below are a couple pictures from Addison’s celebration). The tradition is: the first birthday is the time the samshin halmoni is honored with offerings of rice and soup in gratitude for having cared for the infant and the mother, and for having helped them live through a difficult period. The family, relatives and friends then celebrate with rice cakes, wine, and other delicacies such as red and black bean cakes sweetened with sugar or honey.

I’ve been honored to be a part of this wonderful tradition and celebration and look forward to many more this year!

October Happenings!

Hi Everyone! What a crazy-fun and FESTIVE October! Lots of school Harvest and Fall carnivals along with fun private costume parties! Patrick’s 5th birthday in Rolling Hills Estates brought out lots of kids to a fun and festive time. Then, just two weeks later Skaie returned to a house full of witches and ghosts to face paint for Patrick’s sister, Katelyn! Happy birthday!

Thanks to alll who invited WonderGirl and WonderGuy Balloons to your special events this month! We look forward to the coming holiday season to entertain one and all!

Finally, please visit Skaie’s CHRISTMAS MUSIC page! She will be playing and singing for HIRE this December...so book her for any holiday event coming up cuz her calendar is filling up quickly!

We will announce special guests, events, and report on our “goings-ons”! Because Ian and I are both artists, we would love to keep everyone informed on what we are up to and would LOVE to hear about your lives as well! At any time you may e-mail us (just go to our “contacts” page) and submit pictures, poems, stories, jokes, or just drop us a line telling us about YOU!

NEW NEWS!
We have just added a new service! AIRBRUSH BODY ART! This is a really fun and temporary way to “sport” a tattoo /art piece on your skin and it looks real! The designs last up to five days!Teens, “Tweens”, and kids of all ages are really getting into this new art form. Contact us on rates and availability!

ANNOUNCEMENT!
We will SOON be adding a “Reference Listings” page to help assist you with your party planning. This page will feature vendors (magicians, bounce houses, caterers, storytellers, characters, etc.) who exemplify EXCELLENCE! We’d love to hear from you! Please e-mail us with your experiences and if you have a specific vendor in need. Also, you can give us a “BAD GUY” report, letting us know if you were dissatisfied with any services you’ve received.
